Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.- Just Two More Weeks-Featuring FitzSimmons

Only two more weeks until S.H.I.E.L.D. is back! I’m still very excited; nothing has changed there.

I realized that in all of the countdown posts I’ve written so far, I’ve made two that have been focused on Daisy and Lincoln, but I haven’t even mentioned FitzSimmons! Well, that has to be rectified, so today will be all about Leopold Fitz and Jemma Simmons!

Fitz is definitely my favorite character from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (don’t tell the others!) and FitzSimmons is probably one of my favorite fictional couples from anything! So in this post I’ll be sharing ten reasons I love FitzSimmons!

Just a warning, this will include spoilers!

Ten reasons FitzSimmons is the best pair of characters ever to be on screen together:

10. They always know what the other is thinking. They’re constantly finishing each other’s sentences and explaining each other to people who don’t speak science.

9. Saving each other is their hobby.

8. Fitz spent six months looking for Jemma and then dove through a hole in the universe to bring her back home.

7. Jemma traveled deep space for a year to find the frozen version of Fitz after the time traveling version of him died.

6. They may be smart on their own, but together they can solve anything.

5. Even when Fitz became the Doctor in the Framework, Jemma never stopped believing he was truly good, and never stopped trying to help whenever the Doctor part of Fitz’s personality threatened to take over.

4. When they were stuck at the bottom of the ocean, Fitz was willing to die to save Jemma.

3. They have a time travelling grandson. (I mean, how cool is that?)

2. Together they survived Hydra, the bottom of the ocean, space travel, and even time travel.

1.Even through all of the terrible things they’ve gone through, no matter how many times they get split apart, they find their way back to each other and become stronger than ever.

Well, those are just some of the reasons I love FitzSimmons! They’re really just the best, and I really hope they get a happy ending this season. I’m assuming something terrible will happen to them, because let’s be honest, when does it not? But as long as they get to live a long happy life together after the show ends, I’ll be satisfied.
